    (1) Metro Rate:  Degree seeking students who reside in the following Ohio counties: Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Licking, Madison, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Scioto, Ross, Union, and Warren.

    (2) Indiana Rate: Degree seeking residents of the following counties in Indiana are eligible for this rate: Dearborn, Franklin, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland.  

    (3) Ohio Reciprocity: Undergraduate students must be working on an initial bachelor's degree and must be a resident from one of the following Ohio counties: Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Hamilton, Highland, or Warren AND have an Associate Degree from one of the following Ohio institutions: University of Cincinnati (including UC Blue Ash College and UC Clermont College), Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Clark State Community College, or Southern State Community College AND have submitted all necessary credentials to the NKU Office of Admissions by appropriate deadlines. (Fall = August 1, Spring = December 1, and Summer = May 1). Excluded programs: Early Childhood Education (Birth - Kindergarten), Criminal Justice, Environmental Science, and Nursing.

*Summer tuition is not capped for full time students. Tuition is charged per credit hour in the summer semester.

*If you register for a course after the initial tuition due date, that tuition is due upon registration.

*Those students who elect to audit a course pay the same fees per hour as courses being taken for credit.

*A change of major that takes place after the last day to add a full session class for the semester will not affect your tuition rate for that semester.  The tuition change will take effect at the start of the following semester.

Course Fees

All Online and PACE courses are charged the following fees in addition to the tuition:
Graduate Online Course Fee (Non-Online majors)  $40/Hour
Undergraduate Online Course Fee (Non-Online majors)  $35/Hour
PACE Course Fee (Non-PACE majors)  $25/Hour
